I lost my father when I was 19 and life forced me to mature and develop myself for my family. A common grief and growth taken forward by myself and many others through out history.
His trade mark slogan, "Developing People Matter" speaks to the character of the man I was lucky to call my Dad.
So what lessons had he taught me:
1. Developing People Matter; those afraid to NOT (change, lead or grow) do not benefit themselves, community or their home.
2. The right leadership, tools and expertise leads to success and it all starts at the top. Companies who do not re-invest in growth and development see failures in areas of their business and staff.
3. Change starts from beginning, making that first call, exploring options presented to you as well as having the growth mindset.
